New Badlands bumper, trannie cooler, and lights

OK, so finally got my BadLands front bumper (Thanks goes to Jeff), Trannie cooler (the 4454 size), and some 6 inch floods (Ebay, great deal), and the time to put 'em on. Apologies that pics of trannie cooler are all with grill back on!

Dick Cepek light guards from eBay:

Trannie cooler in place. Bolted on easily. Had to do some minor trimming of grill with a Dremel. INput hose is on bottom, outflow on top. Need to tighten down the latter as found a small leak this AM:

Bumper from badLands. Really well put together. Damn heavy -- good thing I practice my dead lifts. Only pain here was all the damn UPS stickers!

Fresh:

Primer (Rustoleum self etching. I used 2 full cans, 3 would have been better.

Status post 3 1/2 cans of Rustoleum BedLiner:

INitial install (done solo, no less!):

Bumper bolted on pretty easily. On front Xmember, you use 2 large bolts (same size as for frame Xmember that goes by transfer case):

BUT BUT BUT there is a fitment issue on side moutnts. I could only get one bolt in one each side. Some of this is liely due to "lip" on upper aspect of front Xmember, but it also seems the pair of bolt holes are a bit too far apart? Jeff, if you are reading please comment! Regardless, on damn solid.

Turn signals go on easily, tho a bit high:

Final, with floods (I still need to wire up):

Very cool bumper. I usually don't like diamond plate, but it fits for this application. And it's nice to see a company incorporate turn signal mounts. Now go paint your skid plate black. No need to draw attention to you still having IFS.

Don't you go mocking the rusty orange. Besides, IFS rules. Really.

I think it was about $525, unpainted. However the UPS shipping is a bitch, pushing the cost over $700 total, so not cheap. Likely cheaper if you are in CA. His site is www.badlandsbumpers.com or similar.

I have the same model, only modified for a 1" bl. Shipping to SoCal was expensive, but I assume if your in northern cali shipping would be a little cheaper.

This bumper is a heavy duty piece of steel at 95lbs, and good looking too. I agree the turn signal tabs are on the high side and I'll probably lengthen them a little, but at least it has mounts for the turn signals. I'll probably finish getting the scale off of the plates this weekend and get it painted and mounted by next weekend
