New Aisin 1" bore MC

Brakes started loosing pressure, so ordered this MC at http://4wdfactory.com/store/ Installed yesterday with some new hard lines and a new rear hose. Wow, the brakes never felt this good. The one inch bore makes such a difference! I recomend this upgrade.
One other thing. Pep Boys has remanufactured aisins. I used one of there mc's to match the thread pitch of the new line.

thanks runner, sweet ride by the way. night and day diference. It was sometimes scary drivin on the old one. They now feel like a truck brakes should feel. The one inch bore pushes alot more fluid appearently. It also has the bigger reservoir so you get a couple extra pumps on the brakes if you ever do tear a brake line. I highly recomend spendin the extra 50 bones for the larger mc.

So all you did was buy the bigger bored MC or did you have to buy two to make it all work? (I used one of there mc's to match the thread pitch on the new line?) please explain more im confused.

sorry. I installed the new MC then moved on to replace the rear hose. When I backed out the hardline out of the hose end, the end of the hardline looked questionable. I went to pepboys to grab some hardline but when I got there I realized I forgot to bring a piece of the old hardline with mem, so I asked them to pull a MC so I can match up the thread pitch. The MC they pulled for me was a Aisin. I only used one MC.

I do believe some of the early 90's v6 models had the one inch bore but I don't think any from the eighties had them because the trucks still had rear drums and the front calipers didn't have the two full size pistons yet. Maybe someone else can confirm this but I this is what I have heard.
