new 90 4runner
last week i bought a 1990 4runner with the v6 motor for 1500 it has 260k on it driving from longview wash to woodland wash about a 30 min drive the headgasket blew
i bought it knowing it had a water leak not knowing the gasket was blown i had it towed to my uncles and me and my cuz fixed the thermastat housing whitch was cracked and jb welded the truck would not start it was so flooded the gas was coming out the crack in the tailpipe took it to a mechanic he emptied the engine out and said the 6th cylinder was where the water was i was just wodering if yall think its worth fixing or should i sell it and save for a new one my current car a 88 corolla has a cracked head also but it drives fine i dont have very much cash becouase i am starting school next month to be a emt

You're into it for way too much already.. if you sell it now you'll lose a grand of what you just spent because now it won't run at all. This is why I always recommend having a mechanic look at a car before you buy it.
You have 2 options... try to fix it, or put a new engine in it. You may get lucky, throw a couple headgaskets at it, a few other misc seals you'll need along the way and have it be fine. You may get it torn apart to find bent rods, bad head, valve issues, warped head or block surfaces, etc. Could get messy fast. You could get lucky. Won't know until you try.
Your other option is to put a remanufacturered engine in it. You can usually find these for about 2000 for a completely rebuilt long block. Most places (jasper, lkq, etc) offer a 3 year 100,000 mile warranty.
Or get a motor mount kit, drop a small block chevy in it and roll out
