1992 Pickup fails to crank intermittenly.
I have a 92 pickup 4x4 ext cab, 3.0 6 cyl, manual trans. My problem is this my truck will crank and run but not at it's best, has a hesitation and not as much power as it used to. Sometimes when you shut it off it will not crank back, has fire, so thinking fuel problem, I have replaced fuel pump, COR relay, when I jump the diagnostic plug from B+ to FP, the fuel pump still doesn't run. You can wait 20-30 minutes and it will crank. Help please. thanks James

Try and get your terms correct
Crank means the engine is turning over but has not started
Runs means the engine has started
Just what brought the start of all this on??
You have tested for spark and it is good??
I would look at all you connections they can be corroded that can`t be seen by the naked eye.
physical wire damage ??
How much gas is in your tank??

Thanks wyoming9, I'm about to think it is a wiring problem, I'm now looking at replacing the engine harness, it has several bad looking places and splices, what brought this on, not sure, just started doing it randomly every few days it would try to start then seem to flood out and then would not start, you could give it a few minutes and it would start up and run. It has gotten increasingly worse.
