Need help identifying brackets and also need help with dash panel lights
Hi, newby here ! I've had a project 1990 toyota sr5 with 3vze v6 and a340h auto trans 4wd truck that I've been messing with for over about a 4 year period. Lately I've been busy trying to get it back together. I've had to have engine rebuilt and also replaced lots of chassis parts and bushings in the process. My prob is that I've almost got the truck back together but I'm left with 3 brackets that I just can't seem to figure out were they went. They were in the bucket of parts from this truck. I feel certain the they came off of this truck. Here is a pic of the three brackets:
Also I haven't run the truck since I've got the engine back in, but I went ahead and hooked the battery up since I had all my wiring hooked up, but I'm get lights on in the dash with the ignition switch on in the run position without the engine running. My rear anti lock light is staying on, my brake light is staying on, and also my A/T oil temp light is staying on. I do not have the brake bleed. Also my brake light gets a little brighter when I pull my e-brake, but the dims back when I release it. I hope you guys can help me out! I've been going nuts wanting to ride in this thing. It's been a very long project! Thanks in advice.... I know if anyone can figure this out, yall can!!

Well that is a relief.... no I still have to bolt on intake and put belts and radiator in. Everything else is in. Also one other thing I've noticed is that the tachometer jumps up to around 2750 rpm in the run position without the engine running. I that normal too? The truck does have a trail master 4" suspension lift. I guess I should look the chassis over again real good. I just keep thinking that pic #3 bracket kinda looked like a belt tensioner adjustment type bracket. As for the others I just don't even have a idea of where they might have went. I wondered if they had anything to do with the transmission cooler lines that ran from the trans to the radiator..

Well when installing the belts you could very well find what the brackets are for.
I am not a big 3.0 or auto trans person so I could be wrong.
The tach should not move but see what happens once your engine is running
Welcome To Yota Tech it is nice to post your location!!.

Is it possible that these brackets don't go to a toyota? Maybe they just got mixed in my toyota parts bucket... I sure hope that's the case! Hate to be riding down the road and all hell brakes loss.... I guess that might be one way to find out where they went

Yes, I took a long time to figure it out, but #1 and #2 didn't even go with my truck. They must have been from an old lawn mower or something, and #3 goes from the power steering to the a/c compressor. The older models had a long bracket in this place, but I think 90-94 have this shorter bracket in place. You should see where it goes.... good luck!
