Need help in the Ft. Lewis area with a ticking sound...

It's coming from my engine, I know that. It used to just happen around 1800 rpm, but now it's pretty much constant throughout all RPM's.

I need someone with a good ear than can help me pin point what the heck is wrong.

I remember some wise words that DC once spoke "next time your engine sounds like a can of spoons, fix it" and well, it's almost on that level. Not quite, but almost.

down in spanaway. I got your text. That sucks bro. I am at my parents, they are on the out skirts of cell service.

Could it be your o2 sensor exhaust leak?

And Vitaly is picking up Supercharger at 9, and we don't go to Rob's til 2 or so to work on bumper, so there is some time in there to troubleshoot. And rob has welders.

Yeah, I think I will have to head over there. I might just bite the bullet and take it to a mechanic. What was the number for the guy you know, Jason? I think you said it was in Gig Harbor?

Yes. At about 800rpm (idle) it ticks about once every few seconds. Under load it's almost constant.

Hmm... Honestly, I cannot really tell. It could be, however, I actually think it sounds like it's more toward the rear.

Yeah we can look at it this weekend.

Graffe's automotive in Gig Harbor. I would call to check out a turn around time.

Do you have another rig to drive if it has to be worked on? A guy at work is borrowing the little black pickup. I will try to find out how much longer he is gonna have it in case you need to borrow it.

Emily can walk to work, but she has school Monday and Wednesday. So, I can drive her car every day but those. I will be there Saturday though.
