need bracket for caliper core?
doing front brake job. everything going fine - hubs off, separated from rotors despite 17 yrs of VT rust. The auto parts store claims they need the bracket / sheild the caliper bolts through for me to get my $70 dollar core back....
WTF is this business?! never heard of such a thing. Wouldn't care but wouldn't you know it - after tearing down everything without breaking anything, every one of those 10mm bolts rounded right off. Anyone delt with this?
