Need advice on axles

Hello I am new to toyota pickups and cannot figure out where to get a axle. I have a 1989 2wd 22r single cab pickup. My axle snapped on the highway and well did some damage. Cosmetic I do not care to much about but I need to get it running. I have a 30 spline 5 lug axle that I cannot source anywhere. I only been able to fine 6 lug 30 spline. Does anyone have a axle that they are willing to part with or know where I can get one? I have seached the forums and the net and not def answer.

Have you tried your dealer

I just did a search on Car Part.Com and came up with some .

Having no idea where you live I can`t say how close to you.

Prices seemed to be $150.00 to $125.00

A lot of the Toyota axles break when the axle/wheel bearings siezes and twists the axle shaft apart.

More than likely will need bearings/seals along with your axle repair.

Could just get a replacement entire rear axle assembly.

Definatly tons of axle parts for these trucks out there just need to search a little more.

A bearing failing and taking out an axle is one thing just breaking a axle is something else.

I will say ok the OP failed to mention the rear wheel bearing failed .

In my case the axle was fine it and the tire just rolled right past as I wondered what was going on the right rear of the truck hit the road.

It was at night and the sparks were really pretty

I would look at the groove in the road for years till the road was resurfaced in a make union work project.
