My '92 Runner

I posted a little while back that I picked up a red, '92 Runner for a song...I just found my camera, so..It's got 160k miles on it and everything works. I paid 1200 for an old boat a year or so ago, and traded straight up for this thing. It's now my daily. I decided to leave it all stock, as it will go through plenty with some good a/t's (more than I like taking stuff through anyhow). I originally was going to put 33's on it, lift it a bit etc. I now instead am going to lift my '04 Chevy 2500HD 9" and put 37" Toyo M/T's under it.

Oh no...I'll keep it stock. I don't like having two vehicles that I "play" with. I'll make it camp/trail friendly. I won't lift it or put 33's on it. Most I'll do is a 31" a/t and maybe different hubs. I drive 50 or so miles round trip to work. Not to mention I live a ways outta town so anytime I need something, it's a trip to town.

It rides way better than my 3/4 ton Chevy, and I like it! It's also going to be great for road trips. It's a tad on the small size for a guy my size (6'4" 260) but I manage to get somewhat comfortable in it.

Throw on a set of 31" Wrangler Duratracs and some Old Man Emu shocks and springs in the back to level it out, and you're good.

Thats the plan...I may make a safari rack for it or something, but nothing to involved for now. If I buy a CTS next year like I plan too, I'll look into making the Runner into something a little more off-road capable.
