I would like to lift my 4Runner and have been doing alot of research and asking questions and I have finally decided what I am going to do. My goal is to fit 33x12.5 bfg mud terrains in the end.
For the Front I am going to put on SDORI 1.5" balljoint spacers and crank the torsion bars with Old Man Emu N98 shocks. Also swap to manual locking hubs.
For the rear I will get Old Man Emu 901 Coil springs with 2 inch coil spacers and OME N72F shocks.
And I beleive I will need an extended rear brake line, correct? If so I know allpro has them. I will get a Downey Panhard Drop bracket and new OME torsion bars also.
I do have one question though what backspacing will I need on the new rims I get? Does this sound like a good plan or is there something you would do different? Thanks for reading my post.

Well, to run the 33x12.50" tires you will need to do trimming on your fenders. Probibly a fair amount.

With the use of bj spacers you will need to get new rims with less backspacing. If not, the wide tire will come in contact with the upper control arm.
My spare is a 33x12.50 bogger on a stock rim, no way it would fit on the front. Your new rims would need backspacing around 4" or so.

You shouldnt need extended brake lines, but it wouldnt hurt. If you got the cash, go for it.

I personally wouldnt bother with the new torsion bars. I would take that money and buy a 1-2" body lift to help clear the big meats. Im running almost 5" of combined lift and my tires just clear.

I've heard people say that it will fit and I've heard it won't. I guess I'll have to see for myself. BTW its a 95 4Runner.

I always hear people talk about how they can fit these tires with little lift. In my case, it didnt happen. I rubbed pretty bad with a 3" body lift and 33x12.50" BFG's The wide rim needed to clear balljoint spacers reduces clearance for bigger tires.

Trust me, you will not be able to run those tires without a good amount of cutting of the inner fender.
