my 3 passenger windows wont work?

Hey guys,.

Forgive me if this is already posted somewhere, I could not find it.

I just got my truck back from an audio shop after installing some stuff. After I rolled it out, later that night I noticed my driver side and tailgate windows both worked.

But, my 3 passenger windows wouldn't roll up or down, and my front passenger window is rolled down, so I'm getting screwed since it keeps raining today and yesterday..

I'm thinking they blew a fuse or something, but I can't find one, or am clueless on what to do?

I'm taking it by the dealership so they can check it out, but if I could get somethin from you guys it'd be awesome.

Thanks!

-Gabe

My 3rd gens have a lock button just above the driver's window control to keep the passengers from messing with their windows........does the 2nd gen?
If they had your driver's door apart for a speaker install (you don't say where they messed with the truck) could they have missed plugging something back together?

I'd go back to the audio shop and asked them to fix it since it sounds like they're the ones who did. If they can't atleast get them to pay for it.

check to make sure the window lock out button isnt pushed... if it is normal then pull the kick panel off and check to see if anything is loose. sounds like a grounding issue to me. (i'm fighting the same problem wiht my 89)... if everthing looks fine, take it back and let them fix it

I know that I am new and everything, but is it possible that they put speakers in all the doors and maybe left the 3 individual window switches unhooked? I would try to lock and unlock the doors form the passenger's front door button as this switch shares the same harness as the window switch. Hope it helps.

Meh

I shall now quote ... "Why do I feel like a jackass?" - Major Payne.

I wasn't paying attention to my window lock button... LOL
Little bast'ds pressed the button while they were working on it im guessing.

Sorry guys for my useless post.

LOL yeah.. Now I'm trying to find the piece to the EGR temp sensor that connects to the main harness for my truck. I just bought a 250 buck EGR temp sensor from Toy that I had to make a connection for since I'm missing the piece. -.-

Off topic --

Is the gas pedal suppost to be soft (easy to push to the floor) or a bit more on the stiff side? A friend and I have different opinions.. I believe it's a hard pedal/shift, he thinks it should be a softer gas pedal.

Does he have a newer car? He would. My gf still can't understand why a throttle that attaches to a throttle body via a cable is harder to push that a throttle attached to the throttle position sensor....
