Mud in the Frame!.. Help
Hey guys,
Just noticed while working on the truck that the back half of the frame has filled in with mud and dirt thru all the little holes in the frame. The outside of the frame looks/feels solid but when I look thru the holes into the frame I can see there is some rust. How do you guys clean the gunk out of the frame and keep it maintained. Any help would be appreciated. Its an 88 sas'ed toyota p/u and I want to keep this thing runnning for alot longer.
Thanks
Steve

Once I started seeing what mud can do I learned to avoid it or clean it off as soon as I can.
Pressure washer with the nozzle stuck in every frame hole you can get to, hopefully the junk will start to flush out of the holes in the bottom of the frame rails. I do this with the garden hose every time I wash it.
