Mild Lift 88 Truck
Ok, here it goes. I have been doing the research and just wanna see what everyone else thinks. Right now I have a stock old toyota p/u on 31's. Runs great locker in the rear. I love the truck, But my question is I wanna put a mild lift on it. Still prolly run 31(32maybe). So prolly about 2 inch of suspension lift is what im looking for. My rear springs are sagging really bad, so I was thinking of doing the chevy spring swap w/out blocks or add-a-leaf and then possibly the ball joint spacers up front. the prolly to make it look a little bigger a 1 inch body lift. Would this sit level? Any other ideas? I want to maintain a nice ride both on the road and off. Its not my hardcore wheelin rig, its a daily driver for about 3 miles for my wife right now. I was just wondering what everyone thought. sorry for the long post. Oh yeah on more thing, im trying to be as frugal as possible on this little lift as well. thanks in advance.

Try this
http://www.toyteclifts.com/index.php...mart&Itemid=72
You will need to shim your front shocks and get longer rears.

i dont just wanna do a body lift since my rear springs are sagging. do you think putting the add-a-leafs would help my sag problem and make it ride any better?? or just go with some after market springs?

that kit looks good. i believe that the add a leafs will def help with the sagging end. they will reshape and support your already saggy springs.

Balljoint spacers up front and OME springs from http://www.trdparts4u.com Give them a call or talk to Gerone on here b/c I don't think they have anything listed on their website for an '88
I did it and took the overload leaf out for a better ride. about 2-2 1/2 inches of lift overall. Nice and level after playing with the torsions bars a little to even it out.

those AALs ain tgonna ride good tho, i had a 2in AAL on my old p/u and it rode kinda rough. but it didnt bother me. i would do the bj spacers, 63in chebbys and a 2in body lift if it was me. thats what i had on mine and fit 33x12.50s no problem
