1995 Yota 4x4 22RE..5 speed..Got the MC white one for the transmission and blue one for transfer case. Ive done search and didnt find much but my question is how do u get the shifter end for transfer case to go back in? what is it supposed to connect to? do u go through the white wire thats there and force into into the rails at the bottom or go to the side of the white wire that looks like a mini coat hanger?Put new Martin 1200 clutch, flywheel and bunch other things just hung up with this transfer case shifter..any pictures would be great ..thanx....G

It needs to go in between the wire, adjacent to the "bottom side" of the part of it that looks like a coat hanger(and/or in between the coiled parts of it). Not on the outside of the wire, or adjacent to the "top side" of the "coat hanger" section of it.

Then yes, it gets "forced" into whatever gear it was in when it was removed.

Here's a diagram.
