MAF part #
I've been searching around but can't find an answer. I know that my MAF on my 1993 3VZE is toast. It shows no change at the terminal between open and closed. There is no way I'm going to buy a new one so I'm searching Craigslist.
Being the genius that I am, when I was cleaning my engine up I removed the sticker from the MAF. I believe the part # should be 22250-65010. Will any MAF from 89-94 work on my truck? Does anyone know if the part numbers are the same?
My commute to work is one hour each way now, I need to get this fixed.
Thanks,
Jason

and as a foot note... they are not MAF (mass air flow)
the are AFM (air flow meter) or VAFM (volume air flow meter)
if you are searching for a part, at least make sure you are searching for a part using the correct name for the part.
also what 'terminal' are you speaking of that the meter is failing? it has several 'terminals' that serve a purpose.

Well I guess I had better re-phrase my question to avoid all the confusion.
My AFM is bad. Does anyone know if the same AFM is used on all the 3VZE's or do I need to find one specifically for a 1993.

The 3vze uses the same Vafm. Get one from a 1989-1995 pickup or 4runner. You will be fine
And no, the 22re uses a different Vafm
p.s Went out and looked at the sticker.
PT# 22250-65010

Thanks for the links guys. So that means I could get one from a few trucks around me. One more question. Is this a part that degrades over time? What I mean is...will it work one day and not the next, or will the resistances slowly change until it is out of spec? Will I notice a big difference between buying a new one or buying a used one?
I do have a Camry AFM waiting to go on but I need to find another way to fit that to my air cleaner. And who knows if that will work out anyways.
