Lower ball joints for a 95' 4Runner need help
Hello,
I'm new to the YotaTech Forums and need some help with the lower ball joints on my 95' 4runner 4x4 V6. I've been searching the forums, but can't find any write ups on the 95 4runner ball joints. All the BJ forums are on the 96' and later models. Do you have to pull the rotors to do this? Any help would be appreciated.
I found a online manual for the 4runners but the instructions are not real clear.

When i did my lower ball joints on my 94, all i did was
Jack the truck up, put it on stands
Take off the front tires
Undo bottom shock mount (so there wasnt any tension)
Popped the joint out of the knuckle (i used a pickle fork)
Removed the 4 bolts
Threw some grease in the new one some
Then just throw it all back in
It may look overwhelming but its actually really easy. Even my friends dad who works on chevys said "wow this is alot easier then my 1500"
You dont even need to mess with the torsion bars, just watch the brake line when you pull the bottom of the knuckle.
