Does anyone know any tricks for removing the lower ball joints on an 86 4x4 pickup? My manual says to use a wheel puller but I can't get it to work. I have also tried pounding on it with a sledgehammer but it hasn't budged. Would a pickle fork work? I think I could pound it in between the A-arm and ball joint, has anyone tried this?
