Low Compression, 87 Pickup Won't Start, Advice
Background: Ok, I've been driving this 87 22r pickup for a year, until now. It had been running a little jerky in 1st gear, so a friend advised me to use some carb cleaner. I had just got off work and my friend sprayed the carb cleaner into the carb while I revved it. My friend asked for a towel to cover the air inlet of the carb (he said this would help the carb cleaner to get into the nooks.) In hindsight, I noticed that the towel I passed him was probably not the cleanest. It was dirty with possibly pebbles and leaves attached to it.
Anyways, after the carb cleaner I noticed a very high idle and then it leveled out. After that I started to drive home. Once I got on the freeway I noticed that the truck had lost power. It seemed to stop accelerating when the gas pedal was more than 50% depressed. It really started to lose power once I got it on the hill to my house. I got my dad. He wanted to hear it, so I drove it up the street and kablewy it died. I rolled it into my garage and that's currently where it sits.
Details: I bought this truck to learn how to work under the hood, so yes I am a newbie. So excuse any mistakes or details I left out. I never wanted it to die but what better time to learn.
Also, the car was running a quart low on oil when this happened.
As of now I have replaced the fuel filter, rebuilt the carburetor, replaced the spark plugs, and had just about every old timer in the neighborhood give me their 2 cents.
Compression Tests:
Dry Test: #1- 90//#2- 80//#3- 85//#4- 90
Wet Test: all around 140psi
I have done my best to work on it from reading similar posts but now I need some advice. Guys what do you think?
Buy a cylinder leakage tester as a next step?

UPDATE: I pulled the manifold off and took a look at the valves.
#1 and #3 are covered in buildup. #2 is wet with oil. and #4 has descent buildup.
Anyways, I also remember driving home that day, that there was a rattling noise. I might be crazy but I'm starting to think that a pebble got in there.
QUESTION: IF, a pebble did get down the carburetor, is the engine screwed?
Any advice would be much appreciated
