Loose steering, what parts should I replace
So my 1991 4x4 4runner has had wandering steering for a while and I'm finally going to do something about it. I know the control arm bushings are bad, and I'm pretty sure the ball joints are bad as well. I wanted to know what other parts I should pick up and replace while I'm doing the front end. The steering stabilizer is good, replaced that a with OME. Also, would replacing these parts fix the wandering steering? Thanks

all your listed parts and Pitman arm, idler arm, inner and outer tie rod ends. I just replaced all the parts on mine and the half shaft CVs for 1200.00

I did the inner rods, outer rods, pitman arm, and idler arm on Taikowaza's rig and it was under $400 Control arm bushings and ball joints can't be $800! And Tim even bought Toyota parts!

Last night I bought new Tie Rod Ends and the Pitman arm, all with a Lifetime replacement warranty from Advance Auto for $180.
After a weekend of hard wheeling, this is how it all looks...

seriously! looks like a 4x4 could almost fit between those sidewalls and the UCAs. i'm suggesting having a look at your wheel bearings as well - lots of pressure on those when your wheels stick out like that. also, what's up with that CV angle? is that pic taken while at full compression?
