you can go the free way and take it in to the dealership for the recall...unless you want some more performance out of the springs, then I'd say get a new setup.

im with dirtoyboy, what year is the vehicle? if it has coils there were no recalls on them. But you can get cheaper coils and same performance as AllPro. Performance Products makes some great coils. If you have leafs i would get the EMU Dakar springs, very nice ride.

If it's a 92 then the performance products springs BORT suggested work great, they give around 3" of lift though so be prepared for it to sit higher & you have to get longer shocks as well. The spring change was easy for me, the best tool I had besides a floor jack was a long 2x4 & I used it to leverage out the old springs & put the new ones back in....the Autozone loan a tool spring compressor was the wrong type to work on these springs. It only took me about a half hour to change mine out; not counting the time it took to find the board & get my spare tire outta the way lol

Im really not trying to lift it. I just want it to sit level.
is there really a recall for this issue? is there a thorough list of all the recalls/tsbs for this truck somewhere?
