Looking for 3rd gen EXTENDED CAB truck mods - PICS OF 3rd gen EX CABS PLS.
Now that I totaled my std cab, I am looking for some ideas to mod this new 92 ext cab deluxe I got. I am going to put my AR 767’s off the old one on here to give it the look, but I wanted to see some pictures of what you all have done to the outside/inside of your 3rd gen ex cab pickup. I just want to see what you all have done to see what might look cool on this.

I love that lil basket up there. I remember this truck. Did you have the rear side windows tinted or did 94's come like that?

I know it is tinted, I was asking if he did it or if it came from the factory like that.

Spearo, that is a sweet rig.
Below is some of my stuff. Hidden is OME lift kit & steering stabilizer -- the latter the best 70 bucks I've spent in a long time.
Since the pics I have put in a BudBuilt skidplate and Xmember, and have a Badlands Bumper on the way

Yes that is custom.
So far I have seen nothing that is extra cab specific. I dint think there are many mods which are, and they would be like stereo stuff.
If you just wanna see pics of trucks take a look here.

Sort of at least. The 2 left gauges are cheapest Autometer I could find, the right most a cheapy Suntour. All 3 are electric. The mounting panel is from Autometer. The spot is where the ashtray used to be. Cut it out with a dremel. Used plastic screws as well as RTV gasket sealant to secure the panel in place. Power via a Painless Wiring fuse block.

I love the shell in that picture. I was actually going to start a thread about a ZR2 looking shell, but now I know they make some that look pretty darn close. What brand is that?

Toylo -- no worries
Duper -- the shell is an old (like 15 years or so) LEER cap. Don't know if they even make these any more. Leer kinda sucks for service as they only go through dealers, and I had a huge hassle when I had to replace the back window. The roof started to buckle due to a poor seal job I did on the roof rack, hence the "artistic" bracing.
I put in big speakers where the rear side stowage spots are...came out well and easy to do...I need to find the pics tho

only ex cab mod that i can think of besides stereo/interior modifications would be to swap out the driveshaft for a straight one. as well as more of a need for sliders and a low profile x-member due to longer wheelbase/breakover angles. other than that, everything else should be the same as a reg cab or 4runner.

When I bought this truck it was stock.
Here is a 4" IFS bracket lift
SAS with a 3" IFS eliminator and 4" lift in the rear
Just some others pics
I don't really have any pics of the inside, I have done a couple of things, like installed some switches, Cb and rear speakers. If you would like I can take some for you.
Hope this helps
