look at these spark plugs!!
Please look at the pics of these spark plugs...they were put in back in August 08 and I removed them Saturday 17/09 from my 95 4runner 3.0 v6 auto and give me your opinion of what is going on with these cylinders..My 4runner vin number didn't have a head gasket recall per the Toyota TIS site...so What do you think is going on?..do I have water entering the combustion chamber?....my engine runs fine and I have no so called White somke coming from the exhaust but my plugs smell like some kinda rubbery radiator hose I guess I would call it any advice will be appreciated...sorry I did have them in order but my dog jumped my when I came in the house and the plugs went all over the floor some pics not as clear as should be sorry
should I sale this runner? while it is still running. I have had other problems with this 4runner and wonder it I can spend more money on it and time lots of time is it wort it??? and if I do decide to sale it what is it worth?.. need some work in but is vary clean.......maybe I'm jumping the gun here

All my plugs where like the darkest one on the pics, the one to the right, when I removed them, after 2 years....although, they where b*ch super 3...the plug at the 6th cyl was almost carbon dust....

so what is going on in the combustion chamber?....I can't smell any sweet smells of radiator fluid coming from the exhaust.
I also checked the engine oil and it looks normal no signs of water in it...take a look at these picks of what is in my radiator. The red stuff must have been put in by the P.O..... and maybe he thought it would seal up what ever was going on long enough for him to sale it and I guess it worked the way he wanted it to.....Because I bought it and now I have to deal with...

#6 plug is seeing some oil. Valves or Rings. Other plugs may be seeing a little oil, or your spark timing is slightly off. Leakdown is a good place to start.
Coolant does look nasty. Corroded radiator? Mixed Coolant types? Time to flush and replace either way.
If it's otherwise running fine, and not burning much oil, just run it as is. Save up for a 3.4 rather than repairing the 3.0.

DupermanDave.....coolant is in the radiator in the pic all you can see is the red stuff kinda pasty.....I really don't know if Toyota coolant is red like I have in the radiator. do they have red coolant?....this stuff has a paste to it I found that out when I drained it from the radiator and flushed it last week.I doesn't look as bad now because of the flush

x2 for the coolant flush/fill ... looks like maybe they had put some stop-leak in there, which is OK for a temporary fix, but can have negative effects down the road (namely plugged heater core). Have the coolant system flushed by machine and fix any leaks properly.
If you haven't had the head gasket recall done, why don't you make an appointment and take it in? They will freshen everything up and it won't cost you much since they are already in there ...

If it was me I would replace the rediator and flush the inside out, and always use green coolant... Also on the spark plugs, use iridium spark plugs. They are good in the cold weather and can take the lowest voltage to spark.
