Look at my intake

what would make the runners on the left so much wetter and darker looking? the engine is stock. oil getting past the rings. a bad pcv valve.

that is what i got to thinking after i posted the first time. it is using a little oil but there is zero smoke. i think i will check it tomorrow.

I would say don't take your engine apart, unless it doesn't run. If it runs fine, then who cares about a little oil in the intake. For all we know, it could be from a K&N, either used by you, or a previous owner.
