longfield question for those who have them

Just got mine in and test fitted them. They didn't seem to rub inside the knuckle unless i push them in a little. I even bolted everything up to the hub on the one side just to make sure. It seemed ok that way with the c clip on. Just curious if I'm checking it right. Who else didn't have to do any grinding?

Typically you shouldn't have to grind the inside of the knuckle ball. Did you follow the install instructions Bobby has posted? Installed dozens of sets and I think I had to grind out one knuckle ball and that was very minimal.

Thanks Wabbit. That's exactly the answer I was looking for. Guess I'm good to throw it together now. His directions say you "may" have to do some grinding usually on the lower side since his bell is a little larger than the stock ones. That's why I was asking how common it was to have to grind.
