at long last...

I installed my t-stat housing temp-probe mod this weekend

horrible camera-phone pics, I know... but there's not a whole lot to take pictures of really

and I just realised the thread title is missing a letter... it reads "a long last", it's suppose to say "at long last"... mod, please change?

if I had to do it again, I'd pony up the dough and get full electric gauges... it'll make the install a lot easier...

maybe I'll upgrade later on, but I just thought I'd throw that out there

Im defantly going electric. But i probibly won't be able to afford the autometer gauges I want ($200 a pop ). I will probibly go with a cheaper electric. Still not %100 on the last guage I want to run ( temp, oil pressure and.....?).

Go with VDO gauges:

These are less the $30 a piece and work great! They're electrical too, but you have to buy senders seperately. Simple, effective and work great in your a-pillar pods.

Bleeder it looks great!!!!

go voltmeter. Monitor your charging system and know if there is a problem before you get totally drained.

I run volts, oil pressure and trans temp (auto trans). When I get to feeling like I need more than the stock temp gauge I can run another sensor through a dual switch and swap back and forth between trans temp and coolant temp.

Volt meters are pretty basic, but if you really want to see how your charging system is working use an ammeter.

22r oil sending thread pitch is retarded, none of the adapters that come with sunpro, FAZE, or anything are a direct fit, apparently autometer has the right adapter? this is my hold up.
