long arm Blazeland and 4 inch ifs lift combined?
Ok so my buddy is thinking on running a "blazeland long arm kit" but he also wants to run 35's and hates body lifts. so my question is would he take a big risk of bending his 4in lift if he does this long arm kit. he only plans on taking it down logging roads for hunting. would he have to go with a procomp like stage 2 ifs lift to get the extra strength?

Do not understand the question...
All bracket lifts are, is spacers...
Would he still not have the Blaze arms? Or are you asking in a "either, or" context?
And PS... I tot all this has been covered in his thread...
If he's alread got the 4"... 35's wont fit?
Or... Just have him get some BJ spacers?
Annnd... If he body lifts, he can lift the DT as well...

yes, you can run them both together, according to Nate (Blazeland owner)
it's my understanding that one of Blazeland's customers does just that; runs the full Blazeland kit with a bracket lift installed as well
Nate's posted images of the setup before if I'm not mistaken, and claims that there's been no issues at all with the setup

he wants to do a 4in ifs lift AND blaze arms. but would that be to much stress on every thing else. his truck is stock. and he doesnt want to do a BL or BJ spacers.

yes we will be puttin it all in our selfs. i refuse to let a shop work on my vehicle along with him, both are very mechanical inclined and will be able to do it

Sure I will chime in on this! My Brother has a 4" Superlift drop bracket lift with early Blazeland Long Arms. I did the install about three years ago. I took it to my local Firestone for the alignment. It aligned with no issues. Then I drove it 500 miles to his house in Grass Valley and dropped it off. He drives it 3 or 4 times a month for pick up truck utility purposes but does not wheel it. He has been talking about selling it.
Second rig I know of is a guy named Cassidy who lives in Oregon. He is the guy who I posted a picture of who has 37" tires, 3" body lift and a trailmaster / blazeland combo. I'll post the picture on the Blazeland website. I don't have a whole lot of information on this set up other than its been on the rig for about 3 months.
The third rig that had the combo kit was Tim Lund of 4WD Toyota Owner Magizine, on his1986 4 Runner. He had the combo installed for a few days but decided it was just too high. He would rather trim fenders than to go higher. He also said the camber and caster was screwy but didn't really fine tune things because of hight issues.
I am planning in the next few months a combo kit for myself on the Blazeland 4 Runner. I bought a used ProComp stage II lift from a guy on Craigslist last year for $200. Unfortunatly the cast iron spindle spacer was bent and a few things were missing. I ordered the replacement parts last week. It was $280 for all the additional crap I needed a 4WPH. So I am now $480 invested in this bracket kit. I am planning to run 35's and 5:29s with an e-locker in the rear and Detroit Trutrack in front. The transfer case will be a 4.7 trail tamer gear or maybe a doubler.
I'll start a new thread on this build or may just add it to the existing Blazen8's 4Runner build thread.

FYI- there might be a Trailmaster 4" Bracket kit available here from a yotatech member. He pulled it off when he installed the Blazeland LT. Good move for his application as he likes speed and was only wanting to run 33" tires. Anyway here is his build thread- cr@ves4wheelin's 1991 Hilux Build-Up.

A 4" bracket lift and Blaze arms would be sick with the SupraLux 8" diff mod...

What about bracket lift, with the blazeland kit, with a supra IRS for a front diff, with the cvs that used to come with the WORC long arm kits. I think there Porsche inner cvs or something...just a thought

I'm not looking that far ahead at this point for my build. I am looking at cheap n' easy! I just want the bare bones combo lift on my 4 Runner to get a feel for things.

in the grand slam kit, they advertise t-100 cv's. any particular reason? are they longer than 4runner and hilux cv's. do they somehow seem to hold up better with a small lift? or perhaps there is no reason at all.

The T-100 CVs have a longer inner shaft (about 3" longer) but otherwise they share the same components as the 4 Runner and Hilux. The extra length is there to accomodate the longer control arms. Yeah I know, I misspelled axle!
