Lock kit

Anybody know if there is a kit to get the ignition lock cylinder, door locks, gas cap and back window locks? I have tried looking around on some OEM manufacturers like dorman beck arnley but coming up with nothing.

For a first gen 88 Runner.

Red face

Pull all your lock cylinders go to local locksmith.

Get them all re pinned unless the locks are really trashed it is like all new lock cylinders.

Perhaps get a new door cylinder for the drivers door and ignition as those wear the hardest

I do this quite often nice to have several vehicles that use the same key.

when i was a fleet manager, we'd have keys remade from VIN all the time on our rental fleet, However my local Yota dealer said my truck was to old to do this, however a local locksmith said I could give him the code off one of the door lock cylinders & cut me one.

i saw that the other day while i was trying to find them, wish they had pictures of the actual part. seems like it could be it tho because my local parts store said my price on just the ignition lock cylinder is 45 bucks so a set should be about that price.

Last year I bought all new locks for my 90 model from Toyotapartscenter.net. I dont know if they can help you with the older trucks but you might try them. Talk to Jim if you call, he is the man that can help you if anyone can.
