Location of temp senders(i've searched)
My Temp gauge has been going to normal temp immediately after cold start, then never moving. This morning on my way to work, it just quit.
I bought a temp sender but it didn't match what I thought was the the one I need to replace.
The first pic shows what I thought was the one, in between the plenum and valve cover, with blue wire clip.
The second pic is what I had hear might be the one for the ECU, Not sure if it is the brown or green? Just under the TB and to the right.
I have an transplanted SR5 cluster, in a 88 P\U 22re.
I need to get this done today, before all the stores close for the fourth.
Thanks

I did a better search and found my answer. The sensor that goes to the ECU is the one on the right, and its green.
I bought a new temp sensor for the ecu. I figured I'd change that also. The one I bought from Autozone was maroon like the cold start switch next to it. I realize that the aftermarket doesn't' necessarily care about colors, but I thought that I'd just ask in case someone has done this recently.
Is this the right sensor?
