Okay, these are taken from my 1986 22R engine.

The one pic has a hose coming out of the bottom of the carb, leading to nothing. I am assuming this is like a blow-off tube or something. Am I right? Or is this supposed to be connected to something?

The two pics are of wire terminals, I think. Both have nothing going to them. One is on the bottom left of the engine block, maybe half way from front to back, below the oil filter.

The second is on the top left of the engine block, more towards the front, behind the round, gold thingy, kind of in a little crevice. Is that for the temp gauge (which doesn't work in my truck.)

were these pictures taken on a cell phone, or digital camera? If you have a macro function, use it, and you can focus on objects close up.

the first one is the oil pressure sensor for the warning light in the dash the other pics are too blurry to tell lol

if i remember right, the hose in the second pic i have going to nothing because the chiltons i was using had it going back behind the engine but not connecting to anything.

in the third one, if it is what i am thinking of i dont have anything hooked to them and its not hurting anything so far.

As far as the oil pressure sensor is concerned, where do I connect it to?

The one that no one has figured out so far, it's horizontal, has a white platic covering (like there used to be a wire there, but got pulled out), and it's at the front of the engine block, on the left, behind that gold, round thingy, kind of down in a crevice a little. I used a digital camera, but it just always takes slightly blurry pictures if it is not rock steady. It's like maybe a miniature version of the oil pressure sensor.

I may be way off base here, but that first one looks more like a knock sensor than an oil pressure sensor. Are you sure that the block wan't originally out of an EFI truck?

I probably should leave it be, but if they are sensors that are valuable, such as low oil pressure or engine overheating, I would want to know, so I want to make sure they work properly.

I don't think like the engine was from a fuel injected setup, as its carbeurated. Can you do that? Don't carb-ed engines have knock sensors, too?

I always thought that the blocks of both 22r and 22re were the same. It was just a different intake and such that made them different. That's just what I learned. Good luck though

the blocks are the same and you can make a 22r into a 22re or the other way around if you want going from a carb to efi would be a big pain!!!

Okay, maybe it would be from an EFI engine, because the body has 200,00+ miles, but the engine looks nowhere near as old. I still think it was originally a carb-ed block. But, what would it matter? Would not all blocks have knock sensors?

Would someone be so kind as to take actual pics of their engines as it pertains to these two terminals and post them on here and I can figure out how to wire these?

Does your camera have a macro function? Check it, and if it does, retake the pictures using it and get it to focus.
