Leaky Fuel Injector?
I found my fuel leak, it is an injector and unfortunately I discover this AFTER I replaced the valve covers about 6 weeks ago! So here is my question, when I pull the fuel rail to get to the injector, do I have to monkey with the other two? Oh yeah, it is a 3.0. As darned expensive as these things are I would rather not replace them and would like to save what $ I can for a motor swap that hopefully will be done next year. The motor has 215K on it and looks like I may have the beginnings of a rear seal leak. I will not fix the leak, I will just swap in either a 3.4 or 4.0.
Any sugestions?

If it's just the o-ring that should be a cheap fix. If it's the injector itself, ther eis a place in L. A. that if you send them in, they would rebuild and "dyno" each injector for $25 last I checked. They are so good that even on a newer car, you can see performance gains, getting all the injectors tuned to spec and matching, instead of the normal method of them just being thrown on.

You have to take the intake off to get to the injectors. The intake gasket is only like $4 bucks at NAPA. You can replace all 6 of your injector seals for about $26 with the Mr. Injector kit off ebay. It's worth $30 bucks at that mileage.

I am dealing with exact same problem. I bought the intake manifold gasket from Checker. I came with all the gaskets, $62...grrrrr. I replaced all the oring in all 6 injectors. The middle injector on the right side is still leaking. It is either mis-aligned, the injector itself is leaking, or the injector rail has a bow in it.

I had the same problem after i replaced my injector seals. The seals didn't fit tight enough on 2 injectors so i put hylomar on the seal and it quit leaking. I would be carefull not to get hylomar in the fuel and have it clog the injector.

ditto on that.
although i saw a grrrr for $62 and mine cost (4 injectors) $105 plus shipping, but they , and my cold start injector came back tested and like brand new.......so that is something i know i am not going to have to mess with again for a long time.
doing a 3vze right now and the plan is to send 6 injectors and the cold start injector as well.
