Just swapped in another 22RE and need help

Just swapped in another 22RE and need help
I have A 94 22re just got the engine in . It starts sounds good but has no throttle response and goes from all the way high oil presure and drops to zero. My mechanic helping me seems to think he mixed up the knock and pressure switch. He cant look at it untill this weekend. The yellow wire goes to oil prsr switch and red goes to knock snsr. Please help despritly need my truck back.

He also replaced the chain guides water and oil pump I read somewhere here u have to prime the oil pump.?I don't believe he did that
Please don't tell me my engines fried. It's sounds ok. Another wierd thing I have no check engine light on... It feels like it's starving for gas...

Start off simple.
If it sounds like its starving for gas. Check the gas. Is the fuel filter clogged. There are thousands of possibilities it could be. Start eliminating them.
What all did the mechanic do?

Run bldr timing chain kit, wrt and oil pump fuel filter, egr,valve,gromit, fan clutch,radiator,thermostat,oil prsr switch . Pry forgetting stuff bought the engine replaced everything logical and here I am.
