Just bought a project crawler 89 ext cab

It has no fenders but I got brand new ones comes with a 3.0 v6 no trany or bed or interior watcha guys think I should do first

Well.. You're better off just throwing in a V8..

If you wanna build it, might as well throw some ponies under the hood.

Why a 4.3..
I said V8, not V6, lol.

throw a chebby V8 and th350 in, with like a np205 transfer case and you'll be good to go.

because stock 350's have like what 215hp??? Mine did anyway. lol.

But the point is, its light, and its two cylinders shy of a 350.

Get a np203 just kidding

If you're building a crawler, why the fenders, the paint, the new engine? If I were in your shoes, I'd get gears, lockers, more gears and some armour.

Keep it Toyota Gear it lock it run it!!! Find a dash and a seat outta pick in pull toss a blanket over the seat and have at it.

Lol man it's my pavement pounder until I get two rigs going and I've decided to go with 2.7 Tacoma motor sas Duals dove tailed bed it will be painted gotta look good and not brand new dash just something to hold my stuff in there and bench seats with custom center console for when I flat belly

you're over-complicating things in my opinion.
if its missing a ton of wiring, then you're going to have to hunt down EVERYTHING..
