jerky, sluggish accel and idle.

I drive a '90 4runner with a 3vze engine. Recently I replaced the fuel filter and now when its idling and accelerating its pretty jerky and sluggish. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Try disconecting the positive battery terminal for 20 mins. This will reset the computer. It might be choking on the now excessive fuel mixture that the old filter caused..

No, that didn't seem to help it. But you're right, its definitely choking on fuel.

I'd suspect your fuel dampener first.

How about a little more info. When I start the truck in the morning and drive it, it runs fine. Once it warms up that's when it starts being sluggish.
