Jeep to 95 4runner...need some tips
My 95 4runner had a successful heart transplant...new JARCO motor installed; running great!!! 
Now that it is running properly, now its time to accessorize it. LIFT: thinking bout FJ 80 coils, $100 at local salvage, but where can I purchase 1.5'' BJ spacers? 
Do I have to worry about new shocks? SYE? Also want to install an ARB front bumper and thinking about an IRBIS rear bumper w/tire carrier. Does anyone have this setup or similar, any links who also be great. Recent convertee for the Jeep TJ wrangler realm, but the extra room from the 4runner is nice!!

I have done the LC coils in the rear and really like them. but here is a couple things to remember about this route. (other rear lift coils may or may not pertain)
1 LC coils are soft. this does not mean they are bad just know that when you put the rear bumper + tire + camping gear + tools + trail parts the truck might be butt sagging compared to OME HD's or other types of rear lift.
2 because we have 4 link suspension you will have to leagthen the lower links to bring your rear driveshaft back into equal but oppsite angles. if you dont do this you will destroy front u-joints and slip yokes faster then you can find spare driveshafts. you will also have a harsh elipical driveline vibaration over 45 mph... hehe... ask me how i know (8000 miles 3 driveshafts, and 5 U-joints after LC Coils) check this site out to see how to leaghten them. http://www.jamesdeancreations.com/4runner_project.htm
3 You will need to get the 4crawler.com panhard bar drop bracket to bring your rear axle back to center. the 4 inch drop bracket worked well for my lc coil install
4 Longer rear brake line or bend the hard lines that are on the axle
5 Make drop bracket for BPV
6 You NEED TO GET QUALITY SPRING COMPRESSORS!!!!! no joke. these coils are no where near the same size and will need to be compressed a lot just to be kicked/pryed/jacked into the truck. out of everything the install is one hell of a wrestling match with your truck... the truck will win if you dont have the correct tools... ( another tip is to take off the small skids for your lower links. they reduce the amout the axle can drop and thus make the install harder... mine never found their way back on ;p )
Other then that... enjoy! If you pair those LC coils with quality lift shocks they are super flexy for trails and caddy like on the road. I will never go back!
