Jasper 22re Reviews
Hello All.
I am new to the site. I recently bought a 94 toyota pickup 2WD. I just really wanted a truck to haul stuff time to time so it is not my daily... Well it ˟˟˟˟ the bed practically 3 weeks after I bought it. It over heated died, but I managed to get it started and home barley. It will still start, but it makes a hellacious clanking squeak noise from the back of the motor. I am no mechanic what so ever, but my buddy is. He is stumped on what it could be without tearing the motor apart. The cost of that labor just seems pointless to me.
So after a bunch of internet searching and phone calls I think Jasper is the best bet. Good warranty, free shipping both ways, & all I ever hear bad about them is only on Ford, Chevy, or Dodge motors.
Also I read 22rePerfomance is good ,but they don't seem to like answering phones.
So any input would be great, likes and dislikes.
Thanks in advance, Stephen

This might be better answered in the tech section.
Alot of us rebuild our engines rather than buying reman or new.
That and you have to wait for someone who actually has experience with said engine for a good answer.
I'm sure those engines are fine. Alot of mechanics use them
