ISR/Snorkel Instal

I am planing on making a ISR and Snorkel for my truck my only questions are
A) Does this add power, because id figured the ISR mod gives a little power, like 1-2hp and because your getting cold air sucked in it helps to. or am i wrong?
B) what do i do with the electronic air censer? because i don't wanna be throwing any coeds

i would make an isr. then, i would continue to use the stock box and rout piping for the snorkel out of the hole on the front of the air box.

that's what i was thinking but i am putting a cone filter on the end of my snorkel
so i was thinking of running in strait through the fender and into the intake to save it from doing all that traveling
or does this even make a difference

that thing you referred to as the air sensor is extremely important.....so that's why i say you should try to reuse the airbox setup. a lot of people do it the way i'm saying.

you could even cut a new hole on the drivers side of the box and just run the snorkel right out of the inner fender there, then just up the A pillar.

Well, don't expect any amazing gains with the ISR mod. The addition of the snorkel might yeild a little gain.

The best thing about the ISR is really how much clutter it removes.

on an engine making 150bhp(?) your not going to notice 1-2 bhp. Think about having a hand full of 150 pennies, add one more, no difference. Add ten, maybe.

Welding up the bracket Tuesday. Already got my 2 gal. air tank, all the fittings, and hoses. It's pretty much weld the bracket, bolt her on, and connect the hoses.
