ISR done. Is this ok?
So the ISR is done, gonna start plumbing the snorkel in the next few days.
So far I'm noticing much better throttle response and better acceleration but this engine is begging for air more then most.
Is this alright? Do I need the PAIR or can I just delete it all together? If I do delete what if anything happens?

Canisters are filters, they keep the oil from building up in the intake and they work I've had them on for about 3 years and my intake is clean and dry.
Without the resonator the PAIR is super noisy and I like having the added space under the hood so if I can get away without it I'd like to.

I hope that isnt the spectre plastic intake....in a few months that will become very brittle and crack, then a piece can get sucked in to your throttle body and hold the butterfly wide open, ask me how i know....
Id just go to lowes/homedepot and get a 45* elbow of grey PVC.

You can remove the PAIR valve, here is a thread that discusses it:

If you choose not to remove it, I have also seen folks put one of those mini filters where you have blocked it with a bolt.
I ran a section of radiator hose from the air cleaner bib to that fitting, thereby deleting the resonator, and it looks factory.

It worked great for about 2 months, but all the heat cycles it went through it got really brittle and cracked one day. I didnt notice is because one of the rubber couplers was covering it and driving home from work one night, a piece got sucked in to the throttle body and jammed the throttle open. I didnt notice till I went to shift and when I pushed the clutch in the engine hit 6k before i reached for the key.
