Hell all

I am in the process of doing an engine swap from a 1999 toyota tacoma 4x4 to a 1990 T100. I am noticing much information on the site with regards to the engine swap, however the question I am asking myslef,and now all the forum members is any of the other items able to be changed over. the old t100 could use a new tranny and transfer case as well as new leaf springs, stearing and rear diff. while i am at it also the front diff

I was considering a body swap, however the 1999 tacoma was in a roll over and the frame is bent.

The questions i have, is there anyone out there that has swapped out these drive line components? They are looking very similar, however I am notice differences in the transfer case.

The rear diff looks the same and also the leaf springs, are these straight bolt in's?

I will continue my search of the site to learn more of what I got myslef into until some one with more smarts tells me the straight scoop.

the t100 started in late 1992 as a 1993 model. 1990 it was still considered a "pickup"

the pickup which you most likely have if its a 90 is a light weight half ton. Were as the T100 was a heavier duty half ton with a much bigger body on it. It had wider front and rear suspension.
