installing a five panel wink mirror?

Hello is it possible to install a wink mirror in a 94' 4 Runner without damaging the headliner ??? Its actually a 5 panel universal mirror to replace the rear view mirror incase not familiar with what im talking about. Thanks in advance.

Is that the kind that you wink at yourself in? I wouldn't recommend that while driving, could be dangerous.

Yes it's possible. I have one in my 93 p/u and had one since I bought the truck in 93. Drill carefully and make sure you have some kind of device to limit depth (I used electrical tape). I just installed one in our 2014 Tacoma.
