Idler Pulley for 22r/e
So I've heard rumor that the pulley itself can be bought at bought cheaply at NAPA, but what about the bracket? Does anyone have a pic of the bracket and pulley? Trying to figure out everything I need so I can get my powersteering belt routing done correctly.
Cause right now I have it from crank -> ac -> tensioner pulley -> all the way back to the ps pump.
Which works, but not very well. I ended up shearing off the head of the bolt on the belt tensioner trying to tighten it enough to make the belt grab firmly on the ps pump. So I figure I should just do it right now, cause hydro-assist is gonna be right around the corner (along with dana60s). But the 84 didn't come with power steering, so no idler pulley or bracket for me.
So anyways, I would love a picture of the bracket and idler pulley. And if anyone happens to have one laying around they wouldn't mind selling, shoot me a message, cause that would make my life so much easier. As well as then I'll be able to take out the all the AC junk and hopefully net back a hp or two back lol.

Honestly, I would find a junkyard and go that route. The bearing for the idle puller is dirt cheap, like less that $10. The pulley is a lot more. I know that the dealership wants like $150 for the whole setup(bearing and pulley assembly). Do you have the three row crank pulley? 'Cause the power steering is run off the idler pulley then to the crank and then to the power steering pump.

ST- Scuba might still have the pump and pulley I gave him a few months ago so maybe hit him up.
but you'll need the three row crank pulleys.
