Hello Gents,
Newbie Ol' Dude here and I have hit the wall! Hoping some one can help!!


MY TRUCK: 1994 "cherry" T100 3L V6, nearing 200 Kmi


MY PROBLEM: High pressure power steering hose assy has begun to
bleed fluid at the crimped end nearest the pump. FYI - - -> The original
hose assy is Gawd awful [short U-shaped metal pump connector, 2 ft.
rubber hose center section, 3 ft metal (multiple weird bends) section
connecting to the steering sector on the other side of the engine].
After reading much of this site's info and checking NAPA, Rockauto, Yota
dealerships, etc - - -> NOBODY has even a photo that matches my original
part!!! To top it all, local hydraulic hose assy rebuilders tell me that the
weird metal shapes will not fit their clamping machines. Yikes!


With so many of these T100's sold, I can't have the "Lone Ranger" T100.


Any info you may share would be greatly appreciated.

on a small bit of actual experience...

Long long ago (1991?) I could not get the Cir Clip on to the axle stub. and then just slipped the Cir Clip on and bolted it all back together.

I assumed, like others, that the "gold bolt" at the end would hold things together.

Not So.
A long while later of driving mostly in 2WD (maybe 50K?) I found that the axle stub uses that cir clip to "float" the axle above the bronze bushings that are inside the spindle.
The Stub Axle "egged" out the inner bronze bushing (the one at the engine side of the spindle).
It also then "rode" on the outer "cog" bit of the manual hub. Basically ruining the part.
(Now a days there are replacement parts).
I then swapped over the WARN manual hubs (but later swapped back to OEM IFS hubs)

Anyway - the "broken" Aisin hub is a beloved paper weight on my work office desk...

Would anyone happen to know the part # for the door trim clip which is nearest to the HVAC vent and side view mirrors? I managed to snap the retaining pieces on my driver's side today. They look like these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toyota-Picku...=Make%3AToyota but the listing does not have a part # and I need the -J0 color not -B0.

I don't have the part number, sorry, but one of the things my local dealer was actually good for was a variety box of misc. clips like these. Come in handy more than once.

It appears to have been ripped out while moving parts around.

Here is another picture to be safe. A quick Google search of threads showed that it's around the oil filter, but I want to be sure.

Also a Google search brought me to this Amazon link - Worth it? I'm not used to buying parts online and I don't know where else to look.

That Amazon link is just the wire, not the sensor

If you broke the sensor, it might be hard to find a new one, might need a parts yard trip

Cold Start Injector Time Switch....is that a different name for Thermo Time Switch?

When looking around I get the above name more often.
