I think my transmission is screwed.
So my trucks been fighting my to go into first gear off a old start the past feew weeks but didn't really think noting of it. Now today I started it, it did the same thing and I I
had to shift through all the gears way to early. Like I wa doing 30 mph on 5th. And fastest I could go was 35 mph. Help
And I drive an 86 22r.

In the mornings when I start it for school it fights me to go into first and second but eventually it gets easier until it's normal. And today driving home from a friends house I started it up this morning and it did the same thing but I could hear the RPMs speeding up to fast and my top speed in 5th was 35 mph.

When its fighting you, and you have the clutch depressed, can you sort of feel a thud when you throw it in gear?
Could be your clutch not fully disengaging, or its slipping, or a combo.
Or the syncro for 1st and 2nd could be going out
Or your running the wrong gear oil, or should switch to a lighter weight to ease hard shifting

Exactly what it's like. I just replaced the clutch though.

Yeah my truck was doing that. In my case, my clutch slave was on its way out, and wasn't putting enough pressure on the fork to disengage the clutch.
Also, experiment with gear oils. Switching to a slightly lighter weight may be the cure.
