i need help!

my chilton manual said that the flywheel is weighted like a harmonic balancer and needs to be put on a certain way, also i bought a new motor from japan engines put it in and it was leaking oil but hard to tell where exactly( rear of motor) anyone had the little allen head plug on back of block leak? i think thats where it is but getting tired of taking the tranny back out, any feedback would be appreciated

Did you replace the rear main seal before you installed the engine.
If not WHY ?????
I'm virtually sure that the documentation with the engine would have
said to. They usually say to re-gasket the whole exterior of the engine, which you would have to do anyway when you swapped the parts (intake, etc.) over.

hmm. my fsm doesnt say anything about installing the flywheel any certain way.

it just says, install the six bolts and torque to 80ftlb.
