over sized rings in an block that wasen't bored?? just a guess did you have the block mechined? or just hone with rings, if you just honed it make sure that you got stock sized rings, also did you use a torque wrench to tighten your end caps

no i didnt do any thing to the block. i just cleand it up a bit and the rings and bearings came in a kit.. and yes i did use a torque wrench. is that bad? the book said to put them at 18 ft ibs, than turn them 1/4 on top of that. every thing should be stock.

The kit comes with either standard or undersized bearings. Go to Autozone, get some Plastigage (green $1.99) and check the oil clearance on the bearings.

i had the same problem, the kit came with oversized bearings for the connecting rods. did you lube the cylinders with oil? did you lube the bearings with oil? those are the two common mistakes that people dont do. is everything clean?

Still sounds like oversized. The bearings will have a stamp on them to indicate their size (they should anyways). Give us some brand and part numbers of the parts.

ok, you lubed the bearing portion that goes on the crank correct? then it was hard to pull a puiston out? sounds like rings to me. measure the ring gap and look up the specs. did you hone the cylinders?
