Hood scoop finally ready?

So ive been working on this hood scoop for a couple of months in my spare time.Im putting final oats of paint and lear coat on now and will be ready to put the hood back on the truck today. The purpose of the scoop is to force cooler air into the engine bay and specifically over the crossover pipe.Question is will this decrease operating temp. to much and affect engine performance. Will it give an improper reading to some sensor or sensors affecting engine performance?3.0 v-6 95 Toyota 4x4 pickup.Thanx

We need pic's of this. Anxious to see it. I would think it acts similar to a cold intake system, but I'm not positive .
I do know that some of the 3.4 swaps, they added a scoop for clearance.

I've been in the planning stage of mine for a month now, however I'm going to do a cowl type very low profile. Getting a used hood to mess with dimensions and generally just try to test it.

Maiden voyage.

Drove to work this morning with hood scoop hood on truck and other hood in the bed in case there was an issue I could change hoods back. There was no problem,in fact Im probably more stoked than I thought I would be.First pf all it looks friggin awesome and after 60 miles I popped the hood, which was cold to the touch, and was able to put my hand on the intake and hold it there indefinately, which was untouchable before. So far no performance problems at all.Working on trying to get pics up here for you guys.It looks awesome.Definate erecomend for anyone thinking to cool theyre engine bay.

I hear ya.Proof is in the pudding. If I didnt have to spend ten hours a day roofing and two hours driving there and back I could put more effort into gettin pics up here.Im a weekend warrior, thats the only time I have to do all my wrenchin and all extra curricular activities.I'll get these pics up I promise.Between the new tires and Tacoma rims and hood scoop I did this weekend it felt like I was driving a new truck. It all mutdered out black.Lools sweet.Sorry there I go again.
