hood pop not working...

any ideas of what i should to to get in there ??

any suggestions would be helpful

remove the bumper, and try to get at the cable with a set of needle nose pliers near the latch. Its going to be a pain unfortunatly.

ummm if you dont mind doing a bit of surgery.... I had the same problem. the hood latch is held on by 3 bolts, the 2 on the outside are easy enough by prying a bit of pressure on the hood and putting a a socket and a long extension. the 3rd is a bit more harsh you have to drill a hole big enough for the socket where the middle bolt is in the grill. Take in mind I was desprete and this was a trail fix if you have the time I would. take some locking needle nose plyers and yank on it and throw it out and get some locking hood pins.

auto part store for the normal ones... tho unless you live in the country like me.. you need to get locking ones or you but there like 9 bucks , or like 20 for locking ones I belive just call a few part stores. I got mine installed in like 45 min and we did it in the rain lol and with a hang over so not so hard . and they look good let me know if you want me to post a picture lol

the thought of hoodpins on my pickup sounds really entising (spelling?)

did you just drill holes in the hood ?
