Help smoking 95 3.slow

My 95 4runner v6 when started cold smokes alot from the exhaust. Once it warms up it doesn't smoke at all just when it's started cold. Does anyone know of this is normal.

Combustion products are CO2 and water; when the exhaust pipes and air are cold the water will condense out as mist. Once the exhaust pipes warm up the exhaust exits warm enough that it will not condense. So some white "smoke" is normal on startup; it shouldn't smell like anything, and if you put your hand in it, it will feel wet (duh!), not oily.

But "some" and "a lot" are not the same. You could be oozing some coolant into the intake or the engine itself, which comes out the exhaust. This will probably smell like coolant. Your leak might seal up when the engine is warm, so that you lose very little coolant. It will not improve with time, though.

If the temp is low outside, the cold start system will be functioning as well. The exhaust itself is a little bit hotter when csi is working, causing more condensation than normal. I am assuming that when cold you have the higher rpm? When the Rpms drop to normal, is the smoke all but gone? Smoke smell a little like gas, but definitely not coolant or oil?

I drove myself crazy the first couple times I noticed my truck doing this ad well.
