Help with rear diff (ring and pinion)
So I am rebuilding my rear on my 1991 Toyota pickup 4wd v6. The ring and pinion got delivered today and it is slightly the wrong ratio . The ones I took out were 4.1 and the new ring and pinion ratio is 4.3. Can anyone tell me if I could just use the 4.3 and if so what would be the difference or effects of doing so. I also put 31" tires on when I rebuilt the truck not sure if that matters or not. Any feed back would be great thanks!

I've ran different gear ratios and/or different tire sizes front to back, binds like crazy buts never broke anything. This was using 4wd only when it was absolutely needed until proper gears and/or tire sizes could be matched.
