Help with a "pulsing power loss"

i have a 1990 toy 22re, fuel injected, 4wd, manual with about 120k on it. I just did the head gasket and basically every gasket in the engine as well as the timing chain, piston rings, and I ported and polished the head and intake and exhaust manifolds. The engine has been running smoothly with no problems since I did that. however, Yesterday I was accelerating out of a corner up hill and my engine bogged down really bad and started sputtering a bit and died when I pulled off the road. I recheckd all the gaskets I had changed and none showed signs of leaking. I took off my fuel filter and cleaned it out with carb cleaner and it seemed to take care of the problem until today when it started doing it again only much much worse. I bought a new fuel filter and even took it to jiffy to do the fuel system cleaner that they have. Didnt do a thing. Now the engine idles VERY hard to the point it almost dies and I have very sporatic, bogged down acceleration even going downhill, anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks man!! I think that did the trick, one thing I noticed about the relay (at least about mine) was the little flapper with the two connection plates on it was slightly bent out so the two plates didnt make a full connection, I just bent the flapper back a little tiny bit. Now when the relay engages and teh flapper snaps the plates together, its a solid, flat connection, didnt know if this made a difference but it seems like it. Thanks again for the info!
