Help with ground location on 3.0

Hi all,

Nearing the end of my engine overhaul but I can't find a picture of where this ground strap connects to.

Does it bolt up to the other ground on the rear of the passenger side head or is there a separate place for it.

If you have a picture I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Don't quote me on this, buit I'm pretty sure it actually is bolted to the passenger side head not the intake plenum. I have attached a pict of were I thought it was. This was after I just pulled my 3.0 last summer. The bolt hole circled in red is the one I believe.

does it really Matter? ROFL!

as long as everything is bolted up correctly, you could put it anywhere on the motor.

mine is on the "CAP" that's on the back of the passenger side head, the "CAP" that covers the cam..where the fuel line is bolted down.

i also had the exact same ground bolted to my upper intake manifold, and never had any problems at either place.

True, it really shouldn't matter as long as it is a good clean connection from motor to firewall. Mine was on that bolt from the head, it sounds like a few others have had it on the plenum.

Ground Connection

The factory bolted it to the top of the air intake plenum.
